WOW!!!

Today was C.J.'s 2 month appointment with his doctor. I cannot believe he was born exactly 2 months ago today. In a lot of ways it seems like it has been longer, but in so many other ways it seems like he was born just a couple of days ago. While I was waiting for the doctor to come into the room I layed my baby boy on the table and started to play with him. Suddenly he looked away and started to stretch funny and then (with a little effort) he rolled over onto his tummy! I was so excited and shocked that I literally started to jump up and down and shout "yeah!" over and over again while clapping my hands. I hurried and turned him over and yelled, "Do it again! Do it again!" (I know how cheesy this all is, but I am a first time mom, so you have to give me some credit). Then the doctor walked in to view the remnants of this display of ecstasy. I was even too excited to be embarrassed.
If that wasn't enough, later tonight I was holding him in a sitting possition when I noticed that he wasn't leaning on my hands for support so I let go and *Woo-Hoo* he held himself up for a good 30+ seconds (long enough for me to call DH into the room for him to see it happening for a few seconds)!
Today has been so amazing for me! I feel bad about his shot and everyhting, but I have been so happy about the rest of it that (for this proud mom, anyway) it by far surpasses all of the difficulties.
