Yesterday I went to the hospital and woke up with four holes in my stomache and missing my gall bladder. I just remember them telling me that I would start feeling a little dizzy (which I don't remember feeling) and the next thing I knew, a woman's voice was saying, "It's okay, Ginger. You have to hold still so I can give you some pain medicine in your IV." It was then that I realized that I could hear my own voice moaning and soon afterward I could tell that I was moving back and forth. Everyone kept acting like it was really sad that I was in so much pain, but it was nothing compared to the 6 gall bladder attacks I had already been through. They showed me the laparoscopic before and after pictures of my gall bladder, and I was all excited to put them here on the blog. Unfortunately, however, the hospital said that the pictures had to stay there in my files. :-( So, this is the best substitute I could find online.

I had to check in at 7:30 AM and my baby wasn't allowed to come for obvious reasons. I just felt bad because I wasn't let out until around 5:30 PM. It was the longest I have ever been away from my beautiful baby boy. I am just so grateful for Tamra (my hero) being so willing to nurse C.J. I missed him like crazy, but I knew he was being well taken care of.
I also have to mention that my mother-in-law (seen here holding Caio) and my brother-in-law came over this morning and stayed with me all day to help take care of me and my baby. I was so grateful for everything they did. Who would have guessed!?! I'm so glad I have the best kind of in-laws.
